Nonograms

How nonograms work
- The numbers beside each row and above each column are clues.
- Each clue lists the lengths of the runs of filled cells in that line, in order. "3 1" means a run of three, then at least one gap, then a single cell.
- Fill cells so every clue is true. A finished grid reveals a picture.
Choose Fill or Cross, then tap a cell, or drag along a row or column to mark several. Right-click or long-press to cross a cell. Clues turn grey when their line is complete. Hint points to a line you can make progress on and explains why.
A new nonogram appears every day at midnight your time. They're small early in the week and bigger at the weekend. For more, play unlimited nonograms.
Questions
- What are nonograms also called?
- Picross, Griddlers, Hanjie, Paint by Numbers and Picture Logic. They're all the same puzzle.
- Do I ever need to guess?
- No. Every nonogram here can be solved one row or column at a time, which also means it has exactly one solution.
- Why are the pictures abstract?
- Our puzzles are generated, not drawn, so every grid is new and you can play endlessly. The pictures are abstract shapes, often symmetrical. Solving is about the logic, and the reveal is the reward.
