How Tango works

  1. Fill every cell with a sun or a moon.
  2. Each row and column has equal numbers of suns and moons (three of each on a 6×6).
  3. No more than two of the same symbol next to each other, across or down.
  4. Cells joined by = are the same. Cells joined by × are opposite.

Tap an empty cell for a sun, tap again for a moon, and once more to clear it. Shaded cells are given and can't be changed. Rule breaks show up in red as you go, and Hint explains the next logical step.

Questions

Is this like LinkedIn's Tango?
It uses the same rules, which come from the classic puzzle known as Binairo or Takuzu. All puzzles here are original and generated by our own software, and you can play unlimited grids.
Do I ever need to guess?
Never. Every grid has exactly one solution, and our solver checks that you can reach it by logic alone.
What's the difference between Tango and Binairo?
They're nearly the same. Binairo uses 0s and 1s and usually asks that no two rows are identical. Tango uses suns and moons, drops the identical-rows rule, and adds the = and × signs.
